I’m 5’9”, typically about a size 16-18 with very broad shoulders, smaller chest and waist, and larger in the lower belly (post baby). I got the 2x which is plenty long enough overall and in the sleeves, fits my shoulders well and through the waist. It was tight on the lower 2 buttons pretty significantly. If you are larger below the waist, size up. I would also guess that a larger chest or more apple fit would also likely need to size up. If you’re a more athletic or straighter fit, it’s likely true to size. Fabric was decent.Love this shirt, but hate having to remove so many tabs. Not the hardest thing to do, but I think putting them on the sides in addition to on sleeves is overkill and only makes more work for me before I can wear it, so only 4 stars. If you are looking for a soft, cozy flannel shirt in a feminine color, this will otherwise fit the bill.I ordered the orange flannel in medium was a bit too big. Material is solid! I returned for a small figures crossed! I'm 136 lbs, 5' 4" and my shoulders are a little bit wider.Cute shirt but it was to small I had to return itWhen I received this item, it did not look or fit the way I expected it to based on the pictures. The fabric is very fuzzy looking on the outside, too much so in my opinion. And there is a lining on the inside of the sleeves that just feels uncomfortable. I was expecting it to look flowing and stylish, instead it just looked frumpy.Maybe I just needed to read the description and look at the pictures a little closer before ordering, but the pictures just make it look much better than it actually is. Some may like the style, I do not.I liked the photo so that's why I purchased this. When I got it in the mail, my mouth literally dropped. The picture did not do this justice at all. This is absolutely beautiful. The colors are so perfect. The material is thick, soft and warm. Any color pants works well with this. I've worn as a shirt, an over shirt, and jacket. I just love this shirt. This is one of those shirts that you keep forever and get tons of use from it. I actually had to look up what I bought to see if they sent me the correct shirt, yes, it's the same one. Really does look that much nicer in person! ♡I wasn't expecting this to be such high quality. It is similar to Pendleton or Woolrich.The fit is generous and the stitching is top notch. The sleeves of this are lined, but the body is not.Still, the shirt feels like a jacket and you can easily wear a t-shirt of turtleneck underneath this for added warmth, if you need.This has 2 breast pockets with buttons and buttoned sleeves.I woudn't size up with this, it is generous in its sizing.Machine wash, hang to dry and it should last for years.It is so wonderful. I feel good in this cause I love the look. Very comfortable and yet very warm. Not scratch but I think it is the material that is normally but this is great in all ways. I recommend this and great price. Warm and comfortable
